Who Are We?

We are a group of men dedicated to giving back to our community.

The Odd Fellows of Medina was chartered in 1844.

One of the original founding members was prominent citizen H.G. Blake who also founded the Old Phoenix (First Merit) Bank.

What We Do

Locally, the Medina Odd Fellows perform a variety of fund-raising events such as golf outings, food and drink sales at events such as Art in the Park, and sales of Christmas Trees on the Square. We have a few ongoing projects including:

  • Caretakers of baby section at Spring Grove Cemetery

  • Christmas Shopping with local children

  • Jerry Gunner Community Betterment Scholarship Fund

  • HG Blake Humanitarian Award

We have also supported local organizations including but not limited to:

  • Project Learn

  • Special Olympics

  • Faith In Action

  • Project Munch

  • Friends of the Square

  • Western Reserve National Cemetery

  • The Salvation Army

  • Habitat for Humanity
